Negative Space

This afternoon/evening me and Alex are off to the Tate Modern which is open till 10pm on Sat nights. We went a few months back and had a very pleasent night out. Walked along the Southbank...looked at the pretty lights. Wondered around some galleries had a drink in the bar at the top where you could see all of London. ( Well not all of London but quite a lot of it.)

We had previously had an amusing conversation about Negative Space which Alex explained to me is when you draw the space around an object rather than the object.

Me...so you draw the object and colour in on the outside of the lines rather than the inside...

Alex...No it's when you consider all the space rather than the object itself...
